Australian natives have a lower fertiliser requirement than many exotic species. However like all plants, they still require nutrients which encourage vibrant growth and resistance to drought and diseases.
For best results plants should be fed at planting time to provide an initial boost and thereafter twice a year for consistent growth. Apply fertiliser at the rate of 20g to 50g per square metre ideally in Spring and Autumn.
Spread evenly to the drip line of the trees. Avoid spreading closer than 10cm to the base of plants. Water in well washing off any granules that may have lodged on plant foliage.
Do not use on areas where organic livestock are to graze unless fully dug in and incorporated into the soil.
