Our Commitment to Quality

Richgro is an ISO 9001:2000 Quality endorsed company and quality is continually maintained and improved across all internal processes. The company guarantees product quality consistency and holds Australian Standards 4454 for composts, soil conditioners and mulches, and AS3743 for packaged potting mixes.

Richgro products are designed to "bring the customer's garden to life" and through its state of the art on site laboratory "Richgro Laboratory services" all product batches are continuously tested to ensure that the quality of the product reaching customers always perform above expectations.

Our production & distribution

The combination of our network of warehouses, which are strategically positioned in all major capital cities around Australia, along with our manufacturing bases positioned in SA, WA and Queensland, gives us the ability to deliver products to the market efficiently and quickly. This structure of efficient manufacturing and distribution Australia wide capitalises on each state's products and distribution differences and efficiencies and uses each state's unique local advantage.

On-site laboratories monitor the quality of raw materials and finished products to ensure all quality standards are met prior to products being shipped to customers.

The main manufacturing base in Jandakot, Western Australia, is housed on a 45 hectare site that is fully compliant to all regulatory controls. It includes state-of-the art facilities such as full recycling of the water that is used in the composting of wood products, automated packaging for all composts, potting mixes and fertilisers, along with one of the most efficient composting facilities for wood waste and renewable timber products in Australia.

This is the case today and continued investment is committed into the future to ensure that Richgro remains at the forefront of technology. In fact, the company deals with some of its major customers in a paperless environment today and is well positioned to expand this process to an ever increasing customer base.
